Clifford’s Word Book

The book has lots of labels and talks about what Clifford likes and it gets the children involved by asking what they like.  When the book talks about Clifford going for a walk it labels everything (flag, streetlight, traffic light, mailbox, sidewalk, etc.). This is great for the children to put pictures with words to help them with language and writing. In the back of the book it has colors and pictures of items that are of that color. You could have the children point out items and tell you what they are and the color of them.  Make labels and put them on anything the children want to label. They will learn the word because they already know what the item looks like.
